Eldorado Yacht Club · On the Lake at 500 Cook Road, Kelowna
There are plenty of ways to spend a summer evening in the Okanagan, but only a few that stay with you. The kind where the light turns gold, the water goes glassy, and the whole valley seems to slow down for a moment.
At the Eldorado Yacht Club, we’ve curated a collection of signature experiences on Okanagan Lake designed to do exactly that. Some are ours. Some are run by trusted local partners we’re proud to point our guests toward. All of them are worth the trip down the dock.
Our Signature: The Sunset Cruise Experience
If you do one thing on the water this summer, make it this. The Sunset Cruise is our own signature outing, and it’s the experience we’re most excited to share.
Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening in July, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., guests step aboard a luxury Cobalt 272 or Cobalt R7 for a relaxed, intimate two hours on the lake. Picture panoramic views of the shoreline, a complimentary beverage in hand, a curated selection of light snacks, and a certified captain doing all the work while you simply take it in. With a maximum of six guests, it never feels crowded. It feels like the lake is yours.
What’s included:
- A certified captain and full safety equipment
- A two-hour cruise aboard a luxury Cobalt 272 or R7
- One complimentary beverage per guest, with more available for purchase
- A curated selection of light snacks
- A maximum of six guests for a private, unhurried feel
Book to join a shared cruise ($150 per adult and guests 13+, $100 per child 3–12, and little ones under 3 ride free). Boarding is at the Boat House, so arrive 15 minutes early, and bring a light jacket for those cooler evenings out on the water.

Make an Evening of It: Dinner First, Then the Sunset
Want to turn a two-hour cruise into a full evening on the waterfront? Start with dinner at Maestro’s Mediterranean at Manteo Resort, just steps from the Boat House. Settle in around 5:30 p.m. for a leisurely Mediterranean-inspired meal on the water, then stroll over for boarding at 7:15 and glide out for golden hour at 7:30.

It’s the perfect pairing: a relaxed dinner and a sunset cruise, all within a few steps of each other. Dinner reservations are made directly with Maestro’s and are separate from your cruise booking.
Two More Ways to Enjoy the Water
Beyond our own cruise, we’ve partnered with two independently operated experiences that depart right from the Eldorado Yacht Club. They share a dock and a stunning setting, but they offer very different kinds of afternoons. Here’s how to choose.
Babydoll Luxury Boat Cruise: Social, Celebratory, On the Move
If your ideal day on the lake means good company, cocktails, and cruising the shoreline, the Babydoll Luxury Boat Cruise is your pick. It’s a private luxury pontoon experience built for celebrations. Think birthdays, corporate outings, family gatherings or just a special night on the water. You’ll be welcomed aboard with a complimentary cocktail or mocktail, with the option to add charcuterie boards, fresh vegetables, cheesecake, and other resort culinary touches. Cozy up by the fireplace on board, climb up and lounge on the rooftop deck, or slip straight off the boat for a swim. The lake-and-mountain views are hard to beat. This one is about motion and celebration: a floating party with the shoreline drifting by.The key difference from our Sunset Cruise comes down to what each one is built for. Our Sunset Cruise is strictly that, an outing designed around experiencing golden hour on the lake, and it can be booked as a shared cruise alongside other guests. Babydoll is a private chartered boat you have entirely to yourself, positioned for special occasions, corporate events, and family gatherings, on your own schedule and tailored to whatever you’re celebrating.
Kelowna Floating Sauna: Still, Restorative, All About Wellness
If instead you’re after calm, relaxation, and a reset, the Kelowna Floating Sauna is the kind of experience you may be looking for. It’s a premium wellness outing: a floating sauna anchored at Eldorado Yacht Club with direct water access for cold plunges and swims between rounds. You can add a welcome cocktail or mocktail, but the heart of it is wellness, recovery, and that unbeatable heat-then-cold ritual in a one-of-a-kind waterfront setting.

And While You’re Celebrating: Save the Date for August 22
The lake isn’t the only place the El comes alive this summer. Following the unforgettable 100-year Grand Ball weekend, we’re hosting another Elevated Rooftop Party on Friday, August 22, from 6 to 10 p.m. Expect lakeside views, live entertainment, champagne, and the kind of summer-night energy you can only find here. Pair it with a sunset cruise earlier in the day and you’ve got the perfect Okanagan evening from water to rooftop.
Your Evening on the Lake Awaits
Whether you’re toasting a milestone, unwinding after a long week, or simply chasing one more perfect Okanagan sunset, it starts here at the Boat House, on the water, at the Eldorado Yacht Club.
