As we prepare to bid adieu to 2023, we take a moment to pause and reflect on the remarkable journey we’ve shared throughout the changing seasons at Eldorado Resort. Each season brought its own tapestry of experiences, cherished moments, and unforgettable events that have woven into the vibrant fabric of our story.
Embracing Winter’s Warmth (January – March)
As the new year dawned, Eldorado Resort welcomed the enchanting winter season with open arms. We kicked off the year by taking part in Dine Around, offering an exquisite 3-course dinner and stay package, setting the stage for unforgettable culinary experiences. Valentine’s Day likewise brought special stay packages, adding a touch of romance to our guests’ stay.
Nearing the end of the winter chill, Eldorado Resort celebrated its 97th birthday on St. Patrick’s Day, marking nearly a century of hospitality. The joyous occasion was a testament to our rich history and unwavering commitment to creating memorable moments for our guests.
Blooms of Spring (April – June)
Spring unfolded at Eldorado Resort, ushering in a season of renewal and celebrations. Our Easter buffet and scavenger hunt captivated guests with family-friendly festivities and delectable culinary delights.
We also introduced the Resort Experience fee this past spring, offering guests unique opportunities such as complimentary access to invigorating yoga sessions and delightful wine tasting experiences, to further enhance their stay with enriching activities.
We were also able to install water refill stations around the resort for our guests’ convenience, as well as cutting our usage of single use plastic water bottles to improve our resort’s sustainability.
Summer’s Vibrancy (July – September)
Summer arrived in a flurry of excitement at Eldorado Resort, marked by vibrant celebrations and community engagement. Canada Day festivities radiated with patriotic spirit, embracing the nation’s pride.
However, amidst the joys, wildfires raged in our region, prompting an outpouring of support and donations for wildfire relief efforts. Our community held strong together amidst adversity and made the best of the remaining summer months.
We also introduced our pet-friendly section of Maestro’s patio, welcoming guests and their furry companions to bask in the summer sun together.
Fall’s Gratitude and Festivities (October – December)
With autumn’s arrival, Eldorado Resort resonated with gratitude and festivities. Thanksgiving brought moments of reflection and togetherness as guests gathered to celebrate the season of abundance, alongside an abundance of delicious dishes at both of our onsite restaurants.
The 32nd Annual Innkeepers Gala was a resounding success, raising over $150,000 in funds for the KGH foundation, showcasing the generosity of our community.
The year culminated in a flourish of holiday celebrations, from the joyous Tree of Dreams Christmas market to the classic Santa’s Breakfast. Guests embraced the spirit of the season, reveling in the festive cheer that enveloped the resort.
